What is a small church?

A small church is generally defined as having less than 200 total people attending typical Sunday morning services. Stats report that about 85% of all churches have a total attendance of 150 or less on a Sunday morning.

For purposes of this website, we are viewing the small church based on the stat. A small church is a church that has on average 150 attendees on a Sunday morning.

In these churches, the children’s ministry is generally overseen by a volunteer who may have minimal, if any, Biblical training outside of their personal study and local church. Their experience is simply a desire to reach children with the Gospel.
